I was surprised how much clearer I was able to see everything, but I didn’t think much of it or mention it to my parents. It wasn’t until my 8th grade teacher noticed my frequent squinting that I got referred to see an optometrist.” According to Will, stories like his are all too common, which makes him proud to be part of ACE’s commitment in the local schools. To Will, nothing is more special than the moment a child puts on a pair of glasses and is able to see the world clearly for the first time.
